Obviously the first fight ever filmed was Fitzsimmons-Corbett in '97, and the first Ring Magazine FOTY was Greb-Tunney I. Hypothetically, if Ring Magzine had existed since '97, what should be the FOTY for '97 to '21. I have to admit I am only well-versed in the superfights of this era, so I would probably end up saying these were the best fights: 1897: Fitzsimmons vs. Corbett 1906: Gans vs. Nelson I 1909: Johnson vs. Ketchel 1910: Johnson vs. Jeffries 1912: Wolgast vs. Rivers I/ Wolgast vs. Nelson II 1915: Willard vs. Johnson I must admit that I am not extremely knowledgeable about what would be the best picks. Keep in mind, the fights have to be ones that were filmed. So Jeanette-McVey III and stuff like that won't count.
