Nobody is talking about this fight, yet I can't get over how crucial of a matchup this would be. . . Stylistic wet dream for hardcore, and mainstream boxing fans alike. . . Kessler is a better boxer than Cloud, but isn't quite fast enough, or powerful enough to wipe him out. .. Cloud hits like a truck, but isn't quite technically sound/fast enough to wipe Kessler out. . . Kessler is vulnerable enough to make it a fight where bombs are exchanged. . . THey both are tough enough, adn have good enough chins/stramina to not go out early either. Of course in boxing that can always happen. I see this like a Katsidis/Marquez type fight. . Except obviously Kessler isn't as good as Marquez it terms of counterpunching, and surgical precision, and Cloud is a little bit faster/stronger/better than katsidis is. . . So it will be fought on even terms basically. I see Cloud following Kessler around the ring, eating jabs, and hard 1-2's/1-2-hook-2's, but landing his own overhand right/left hook BOMBS in exchange. . I'm talking 20-25 power punches at least landed per round. . . I can also see Kessler being able to back Cloud up at times, where Cloud is extremely vulenrable. I see Kessler winning a late stoppage, or close decision. . .
Seriously? Nobody thinks this would be a hell of a fight? Kessler called Cloud out recently, but Cloud said "he is obligated to his mandatory", Karo Murat. . . Then, conveniently, he is about to make a fight with Pascal. . .
It would be a good fight, but Cloud aint the money man in the division. That'd be BHOP. So most likely he's looking for BHOP to pull it out or even not, just so long as he gets a 5 mil fight before he calls it a day.:yep
Boxing is a business before being an entertainment... But yeah, I see Kessler beating the **** out of Cloud who IMO has been massively exposed in his 'win' against Gabriel Campillo... A bull**** decision if I ever saw one... Cloud is good. Very good. But a come forward brawler with no defence will always get outboxed when he meets a boxer mover who is just as tough as him... Hopkins would beat him if he could whip himself into good enough shape at this stage... Cleverly would beat him. Dawson would definitely beat him. Pascal WILL beat him even though Cloud thinks he's shot... It has to be said he is the weakest of all the champions...
