FOTY - Vasquez vs Marquez III

I had it 113-112 Marquez.

 

If there is another fight this year that tops that then we are in for a real treat.

 

Possible matchups, let alone scheduled/anticipated ones.

 

It won't be topped, no way. That was the best fight since year 2000, IMO.

 

Best since I've been following the sport (as an adult - I'm not counting when I watched with my dad as a kid).

Most will point to Castillo-Corrales, but the level of skill and precision here was much higher IMO.

 

We had no TV coverage here either so I watched it on sopcast. :yep

 

Hard to beat. I have Vasquez winning clearly.

Pac-JMM & Pac Hatton will be a candidate. But I expect Pac to dominate so it still be Vasquez-Rafa as the FOTY.

 

Yeah, I love Castillo-Corrales and have the utmost respect for each of them. I have it in my top 5 fights ever, but I enjoyed this more.

Regardless, these are the fights that make boxing the sport it is...
