That's why we love the sport: No avoiding top guys, no running. Pascal fought as he had to fight, and fought smart, but he got in the pocket and traded, too, and often got the best of the exchanges.

I remember over a year ago when everyone on here was giving Pascal **** and talking about how he shouldn't be rated and how he's undeserving of the Miranda fight that was in the making and about how he'd get annihilated by Miranda hahahaha oh have the tides have turned and the mighty have fallen. Before people were calling him a ***** and now everyone considers him a blood and guts warrior.

Pacal has got balls going out in the 12th when he knew he had the fight and still fighting like he needed the round to win and even trying to knock Diaconu out. Great ****, excellent fight. Fight of the year? nah JMM vs Diaz, Cotto vs Clottey, Mosley vs Margarito all beat it for me but the bout was entertaining and I look forward to Pascal's fights in the future, hopefully he can get a couple succesful defences under his belt and make some money before and inevatable loss at the hands of Bute or Dawson.

 

Dunne v Cordoba was certainly better than this one also.

 

It's hilarious how people consider Mosley vs Margarito a fight of the year contender. It was a blow out, one sided, massacre.

Performance of the year, not fight of the year.

If there's ever a problem the sport should have, having too many fights that get fans geeked up enough to keep saying "FOTY" is the one. :yep

great fight for sure, but falls a bit short of fights like JMM-Diaz, Dunne-Cordoba, and Berto-Collazo IMO......
