How did Lazarte not get DQ'd against Solis? Ridiculous, just like Gainer-Norwood, and D. Kameda-Naito.

The only way this is a "new" problem in boxing is if you think boxing started two weeks ago. It's always been part of the sport.

There's good clinching and there's bad clinching. Clinchers come in many different forms.

Not whoever that is. That dude must be balls deep in your head though.
An example of what? Boxing shorts being above people's bellybuttons with belts 6 inches wide? Just pick a fight.

I disagree with the premise that Horn was intentionally headbutting. He's just uncoordinated. The replays showed Pac ducking into them. None looked flagrant. Just the result of a goofy nobody carrying out a gameplan he's not very comfortable with. Obviously not the best at closing distance or getting inside.

No, that's perfectly legal. Can you provide an example of what you actually stated... a false impression of low blows created by fighters " pulling your shorts to your nipples."

Can you provide one or admit it was hyperbole?

Ward-Kovalev had maybe 2 legit low blows. How many did Kovalev complain about? How many did his fans complain about?

It's a rough and tough sport. It's the hurt buisiness. Now there is a point where the rough stuff crosses the line, but that's for the officials to decide, not for tough fighters to cry about. Overall...if you can't stand the heat get the **** out of the kitchen!

Please point to a moment where Kov's trunks are to his nipples and i will admit to being wrong.

Oh, well that part was certainly hyperbole. Did I need to explain that? lol

Some of the ATG were dirty as ****. Being dirty and using every trick you can to win a fight has always been part of the sport.

Also, conventional vs southpaw ALWAYS creates weird issues of clinches, headlocks, headbutts and guys going around opponents.

On a boxing forum you'd expect that posters at least understand and have watched the sport they bothered to make an account on a boxing site to post on about.

It's only new to those looking for excuses for their favorite fighters.

Pac was robbed yesterday, but by the judges, not the ref.

And all the energy that was put into making slow-mo replays showing Ward landed an inch low at times is just plain laughable.

The one in recent times whose fouling might have changed the result in certain fights is Wlad. His octopus style nullified any attempt at offense by Povetkin and may have helped him from being stopped by Peter. I saw nothing of that sort of crucial fouling in either Ward-Kovalev or Pac-Horn.

That Gainer/Norwood fight was such a dirty fight... Norwood a punk, and I don't blame Gainer at all for retaliating.. Norwood did that **** all night. Gainer at his best was a good fighter too.

He wasn't dirty, he was rough. People act like bitches, they're FIGHTING, let them fight.

It's an old problem and certain fighters, in certain fights, always seem able to get away with it more than others.

In my opinion Horn should have been warned several times about his head butts, elbows and head locks.

Deliberate or not there were fouls aplenty in last nights fight.
