Supposedly EPO wasnt banned when Mosley fought Oscar. I dont know this for a fact but from what Im told in 2003 it wasnt banned in boxing or Nevada. Does that make it right? What if you found out George Foreman was taking Steroids when he beat Joe Frazier? Steroids werent even illegal in the seventies much less banned in sports so would that change your opinions of him? It would mine. Im sorry but I dont subscribe to this bull**** idea that whatever isnt banned or illegal is fair game. Just because the rules havent caught up to the science doesnt mean there is no right and wrong.
If it were truly a PED, then the commision would have (and should) ban it. All of you that say Floyd shouldn't make drug testing demands because "he needs to let the commision do their jobs" are the true hypocrites.
Then no more vitamins, protein shakes, or any of those legal supplements because they are performance enhancers.
It was definately banned. The N.S.A.C doesn't have a test to detect it. Everyone knows exactly what xylocaine does, everyone knows the side effects. They have tests that can detect. It's not some new drug that the commissions and anti doping agencies are ignorant of.
Here is my problem with it. It's not a big one, cause I don't care much. But anyway... When Floyd's camp made their accusations about Pac, there was a whole lot of talk about how Floyd was taking some sort of noble stance. There were diatribes on here about how boxing is a very serious sport where people's lives are at risk, and how anyone who uses a substance to push their body past what it can naturally do and therefore inflict more punishment was... well evil or something. Now that we can see this argument doesn't work for Floyd anymore, people are now shifting gear and redirecting the debate. Floyd is a moral crusader because he only uses legal PEDs, he still wants to clean up the sport. Cause he is so ethical. But saying "it's legal and that makes it right" is technically one of the lowest forms of moral reasoning. Read some Psychology textbooks, and you will find that most people can see through that sort of moral reasoning by the time they are 10-12. If I was taking a substance that was banned all over the place and only allowed in a few isolated little places then I'd be wondering about the grey area of ethics involved in using it. Juxtapose that with the idea that Floyd is a moral crusader? It's kinda like flying to Amsterdam to get high, then coming home and championing a political campaign against amphetamines. Hey, it's legal in Amsterdam, so it must be ethically sound, yeah? Or more to the point, coming back and championing the campaign AND lying about the fact you got high in Amsterdam....
Vitamins and Protein can be found naturally occuring in the body. Can you say the same about Xylocaine? Hypocrite...
Most vitamins don't occur naturally in the body. They need to be added to the body for it to perform. Whose body produces it's own vitamin a, b, c, iron, zinc, ...I can go on an on.
Floyd trains in his day to day life sparring and fighting. It is his life so do you retract your statement? nothing is going to help your punch resistance if your brain is rattled pain killers wont help. Take it from somebody that worked in the same field as mike vick. Pain killers wont help in a professional leauge of brutality. Then you come to realize it aint the pain that quits them. Its the conditioning. why do you think he always kept fighting when he broke his hands? same as gatti? If you smoked some pcp then yes it would help with resistance after you went valero on your oponet and the ref. Dont tell me i aint a fan of boxing cuz you you talking bout **** you dont know. You can talk about the outside of the sport and thats fine yall try to dig to deep in the sport and thats were i have a problem watch the fight and access that stay out the gym and the locker room cuz you cant tell me **** after 30 4 rounders and 10 6 rounders and you aint even been in 1 round. Leave that **** alone you tell a boxer they not a fan of boxing dumb ****
Can you live what we consider a healthy life without those vitamins? Are you suggesting we stop eating? Is food a PED to you? Moron.
I can see your point from that angle. So suppose Floyd never said **** about "cleaning up the sport", would you still care about him using lidocaine?
wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!! son you sound like you never even seen the inside of a ymca let alone a boxing gym with the **** you say
biggest idiot on here. He is suggesting your ****ing statement is inaccurate. What the **** is wrong with you? You are so ****ing dumb
But we can live without taking those legal supplements that can be found at gnc, moron. You can eat your three meals/day, have fruits and vegetables (where vitamins occur naturally) and never take a pill. Whoever I was quoting said just because something is legal does not mean it should be fair game. Buying all these other supplements is not a natural way of getting the vitamins your body needs.
