Well we all know Amir Khan is scared of fighting bangers but still wants to fight people with good ranking/records.

Well how about this fighter (who incidently is fighting on the same card as Marcos Maidana)
    Cesar Rene Cuenca!!
With an unbeaten record of 38 wins and 0 losses but wait for it just 1 KO.
Perfect for Amir Khan and he is ranked in at least one faction i think

All i can say is must be embarrasing for the one guy that got knocked out and again interesting that he's fighting on the same card as Maidana

    :)

Well he is ranked quite high, is unbeaten and will not hurt Khan, but obviously being unbeaten he must be a good boxer.

I reckon Khan show pop along to Argentina on the 28th August because not only can he watch Cuenca, he can also watch Maidana too

Well i am being 20% serious 80% sarcastic. Of course going on Amir's fear of fighting a banger. Just can't believe someone has been unbeaten after 38 fights and only have 1 KO. He must either be having some good match making or he can "box" a bit.

My "serious" notion is Khan against Maidana who he should beat easily, and would get rid of the stigma of his fear of fighting bangers

Then why not make a thread on the benefits of Khan facing Maidana instead of posting some rubbish like this which really wasn't amusing.

Geez, what's with this fear ****. You don't become a fighter and have 'fear'. I mean seriously, if fear even comes to your mind when you're a Proffesional Boxer then you might aswell quit.

I'd like to see you in with a guy like Malignaggi and tell me if his punches are like slaps, because personally, if you haven't tasted a punch before, then you'll be out the ring before the gloves swipes your face.

Jeez loosen up Lazarus, yes it was a bit of tongue in cheek and its more amazement on how someone can be unbeaten with so many fights and have only one KO, and who knows what goes on behind closed doors, maybe Khan is dying to take on all comers but his management are too scared to let him in with a banger as he is their cash cow right now

They might have to investigate this one KO. If it was a one punch KO then he will definitely not be fighting Khan. It wouldn't make business sense. Why risk future paydays against a fighter who could knock Khan cold? If, however, it was a TKO, perhaps because the opponent pulled out injured, I say it makes perfect sense as a "stay busy" fight for young Amir.

Did you see Cotto and Hatton's face after the Malignaggi fight?

Oh if that's the case, why didn't Khan's face look as bad in the Kotelnik fight (who IS a harder puncher).

It doesn't mean ****. Hard or not, your face will still puff up. A punch is a punch.
