Thats the problem I have. Haye wants Valuev.. Fine, Great, and good luck. But be a man not a *****

1st he bitches about Wlad contract, signs, then pulls out because of sentanta yet says "Hurt my back"

Then deals with vitali and instead of saying "I am going a different direction" he doesnt answer mail, text, or phones, then "Blames vitali"

I bet he pulls out of this fight also... and blames the Klitschkos again:yep

But you can get an idea from history

Opponents of Klitschko have never had issues with contracts, Hell Chagaev signed in 3 days

When Haye moved up he had contract issues with the first 3-4 guys he was due to face before barrett and Haye ALWAYS blamed the other side

Haye had issue with Wlad contract..blamed Wlad

Haye had issues with Sentanta contract

Haye had issues with Vitali contract..blamed Vitali

    See a pattern here?:deal:hey

So he essentially used Wlad and Vitali. This isn't exactly a rare concept in boxing.

What Haye did was essentially play everyone and sound up with a better deal vs Valuev. Perhaps it isn't a better deal...maybe it's worse. It might be for all we know. What we do know is that he hated the terms of the contract and found a way out of it into a much more open deal (although I'll BET Don King has some pull here) against a weaker champion with a much better success probability. At the same time he milked Wlad and Vitali for namesake and wound up going from an absolute nothing in America to a blip (albeit small) on the radar screen. Mission accomplished. It cost him relatively nothing to get it done as well.

Again it's not honorable..but it's damn smart. Haye is made for this business of shady but successful ventures.

I think it leads to bigger problems down the line. You think the Klitschkos will want to deal with him again? I dont think so. I think if Haye wins, a unification fight has a very SLIM chance of Ever happening. Haye thought he deserved more then he should get as a voluntary defense, can you imagine his ego when he has a belt and DK is sitting behind him pulling his strings. :nut

If Wlad and Vitali decided not to business again with Haye, I don't think anyone could blame them. They gave him two options and he burned them twice. You can only cry wolf so many times so if The Klitschko Bros decided to ignore him for the rest of his existence, it wouldn't be their problem.

That said Haye will get a title and bragging rights...which is pretty much all he needs to create a fight for himself. He can trash talk anyone into a fight and make a decent living out of it.

Yep, the man will be even more full of himself than he is now. The only positive is that he will have to fight Ruiz, and that series of fights will only serve to devalue his claim to a title and ruin his already waining popularity.

One of the major potential beneficiaries of this is Showtime. They can pick up David Haye on the cheap and make him into the face of their HW division. With Wlad being an HBO fighter (and his lil time out vs Chagaev is the exception and not the rule), Arreola becoming one of their HW faces and Solis being with Top Rank, Showtime is going to have really dig to find itself a HW to compete.

I'd bet on Haye vs Valuev finding itself on Showtime when all is through.

I think the way it went is if he were to beat Wlad he would have to rematch him, which is fine. But then he would HAVE to face his brother or else he gets stripped of his belts. That's the way I took it.

It's pretty god risk. He could get robbed but he's surely going to batter Valuev.

It's been reported that he would have to face eac brother twice. Where do you think people go it from?
