Strong words from a guy that may be the champion some Saturday. He's right, though. There is no reason to keep Strikeforce alive anymore. This card is getting no press, and on paper, it is actually very strong.

I don't know if he is correct in saying that he and Rockhold would storm through the UFC MW division, however.

They wouldn't. And thats the reason why he's still in SF. This is a big part of the problem of the UFC monopoly. SF doesn't have a year left in it. Why its still here i don't know. If there was more competition elsewhere people would care. With SF barely being one up from a bush league now no one gives a ****. Fighters needs options. The UFC ensures they have none. Sad.

As I said when everyone was predicting death for Strikeforce last year it'll continue to exist as long as Showtime are willing to pay for it. The UFC a) won't turn down money and b) won't want to give anyone else the chance to sign a deal with Strikeforce. The only reason I can see the relationship being ended by UFC is if they decide the benefits of getting Rhonda Rousey into the UFC outway the negatives of a) and b)

This is a decent card too, shame. it's atleast on a par with Munoz v Weidman imo.

Not looking forward to Nate vs Tyrone. That could be brutally bad.

 Tyrone isnt exactly exciting is he. Unless Nate can land something big on the feet it could end up like Chael v Nate, but Woodley isnt as active on the top

Its such a shame as well , the UFC / SF combo could of been big , added to that the SF / DREAM / Shooto Japan (Given that looks like is that for DREAM) combo could of gotten really interesting too

Monolopising the sport has been the vision from day 1 , well there almost there !!!!!

    Fat bald ****

  12. It's what happens when monopolys take over. It's bad for sport and life in general
