    I’d say he’s referring to the smooth punching in fluid motion ,they have similar offense ,Robinson got away with a loose guard defenses because he was lighter and not easily hit . Joyce is a wrecking ball I expect him to narrowly get by DDD .

    Ray was a virtuoso, finesse, guile, balance, speed. Joyce can jump around all he wants, the comparison is hilarious.

    Hardly. Not even close skill-wise. Those guys were not only tough as nails they were incredible athletes, in some cases fighting more than once a month.
    SRR, Willie Pep you'd be hard pressed to find more skilled boxers in any era.

    I can`t believe that but I respect Fouts, I guess maybe I have to see more of Joyce, if he detroys Dubois then maybe you`re right.

    Thanks for explaining that, I`ll look for it in Joyce`s next fight, I feel if he is as smooth as you say he should beat Dubois easily, too green despite his lovely 1-2.
