Folks like that Kownacki isn't afraid to go out and actually let his hands go from the start, especially after years of moribund, safety first heavies who waited round after round for the opportunity to throw a few punches at full tilt.

That said, you got to more in this game than just let your hands go.

Ironic that a bad called turned the fight in my opinion. That first knock down that wasn't called was the punch that won it. Had he ref called it correctly and given him a 10 count Kownacki might have survived that rnd.

In other good news, Cuban glass was also shattered.

    A good win for Helenius.
Incredible that this was actually some sort of world title eliminator.

That's now both Martin and Helenius winning title eliminators for AJ's belts.

Sooooo The Polish Homer Simpson got stopped.

Really happy for Helenius, I never really rated the Polish Homer.

I hear what you're saying, there are some fantastic judges on here, excellent knowledge and some have highlighted fighters to me from very early and they have gone on to great things.

but Kownacki was not in my top 10.

I've only seen short clips of him & wondered how Ring rate him #9 off Areola & Splilka with 111 weeks on their list seems they led the Kownacki cattle call of supposed greatness.

I appreciate the way Kownacki dealt with defeat there.
    Wilder needs to take notes.

So does this mean Helenius will take Kownacki's top 6 rankings amongst all 4 governing Bodies and 9th best Ring Magazine HW?:D
