I believe AG is 24 years old, he can go away and work on a few things and come back a better fighter assuming his Team know what they are doing, also the experience could do him good.

Yes it's a beating but it's now a beating he shouldn't be taking, this is completely pointless, maybe I'm getting soft in my old age but I think they should save him for another day.

He is too brave for his own good, somebody needs to make the decision for him.

Mares unloading combinations, none of the punches devastating but cumulatively they are very damaging. Gutierrez corner needs to keep him on his stool after this round

Mares just ripping Gutierrez with winging overhand and one twos, some time three fours, and Gutierrez keeps coming like Jason Voorhees, with no machete.

OK, whoever bet on the Over 9.5 can now collect on their bets, so no more need to let this continue. Reiss stops the action to have the doctor look at the facial damage of Gutierrez. The fight is stopped.

Great refereeing, refs normally get a lot of criticism but for me that was absolutely spot on.

Mares still ripping away, now Gutierrez is a bloody mess, his eye is a geyser now, Reiss steps in, calls the doctor in, they mercifully stop it.

Should've been stopped a couple rounds earlier. We didn't need to see Gutierrez' eye almost falling off, not when he wasn't in the fight for a second.

Would’ve pulled Gutierrez out rounds ago, was never in the fight.
