Good win and performance by Ajaba, I knew Ali D was going to test him because he has good fundamentals, a very tight guard and an iron chin. I do feel he's not getting the best out of himself though and could make significant improvements if he hooked up with a top trainer and took training more seriously. Apparently, well according to what I read on another forum the other day, he trains himself and there isn't a real trainer in his city. I don't think he hits as hard as his record suggests either. He's a poor man's Sinan Samil Sam (RIP) but there is room for improvement.

As for Ajagba. He's obviously very big and strong and packs serious power. However, his work rate impressed me tonight and his jab was in Ali D's face all night.

Are you comparing either of these guys to Loma, lol?

He’s a generational talent. And he took an L by stepping up too soon, btw.

Should every fighter by their 10th fight be in 12-round featured bouts? This is an undercard bout on a TV undercard to a PPV. Ten rounds is more than adequate.

you can't really compare them to loma. demirezen was fighting bums in germany and turkey. and he was injured recently + out of shape (fat, 270 pounds). this was first fight where he was injury-free and in shape (245 pounds). ajagba had better opposition for sure but still journeyman level fighters. Loma fought for a world title in his second fight and fought gary russell jr in his third.....not really comparable.

You said 10 pro fights is what you call a novice, regardless of amateur pedigree. You are arguing yourself here.

It's not a comparison. I merely challenged the argument that suggests a boxer with 10 pro fights is a novice.

Plant 10-8. Mike Lee looks out of his depth in there so far.
