We need Roy Jones Jr back on commentary. PBC announce team is dreadful.

 

If tonight showed me anything, it was that a Manny bet vs Spence is an absolute lock. Pacman stops him. I will not bet the stoppage, because I am scurred, but I will take the old man straight up.

Call me crazy, but it may even be easy work.

Crawford though, who knows. The guy is never in a big fight so is he really in the discussion? He has the talent, but shouldn't be in the realistic discussion for 147 supremacy as he is not willing to make the next step.

Kinda predictable and boring fight honestly, Porter and Danny Garcia are not good enough at 147 [ Porter deserved to lose vs Ugas and Danny is so average ] . Pacman is old but still better, Thurman was decent but with all those injuries and getting fat and marriage somehow put himself out of the picture.

Hopefully Crawford vs Spence next which is 50/50 fight imo, dont really want to see Pacman vs Spence or Crawford at this point, even if he will give it all and be dangerous opponent still.

I liked this fight. It's one of those where you can't label it a great brawl or a great chess-match, but the rounds just seemed to pass with ease. Scoring wise, I don't really have any gripes with much. The official cards are good. This is the sort of fight, with the amount of close rounds where you'll see cards from a draw to a shut out. As long as you had Spence winning I won't complain.

I thought Spence was very good here, all things considered. It was a dominant jabbing performance, where he showed skillfull pressure fighting and a good defence. Aside from the odd counter he took from Danny, he basically shut Danny down.

 

I used to think that Spence would beat Crawford. I don't think that anymore.

Prime Pacquiao would have Spence on the run.

 

I had it closer than most. 7-5 Spence. I can’t say I was overly impressed with Spence and I didn’t feel like I was watching a P4P fighter. What I saw was a large but good 147 beating a good 140 fighter. He still won though and I think it’s right that he shouldn’t look perfect in his first fight back.

Garcia did well. Defensively he was good, always moving out to Spence’s right and landing some nice counters. He was just getting a little swarmed at times. I’d never noticed just how good his punching technique is.

Also, PBC broadcasts suck. The time between fights is annoying and the commentary is so bias. After round 6 they should Spence throwing a 5 punch combination. 1 shot landed. Instead of “good head movement and blocking from Garcia” it was “wow look at this aggression from Spence”.

Fundora looks a handful.

Let’s give some respect to Santana too. What a warrior to keep getting up and throwing hands.

Tremendous performance by Spence. He out boxed, outpunched, outthought and beat Garcia up. Garcia was too cautious and allowed Spence to get comfortable and get in a grove (huge tactical mistake). Garcia needed more energy and assertiveness like he had in the last 30 seconds of round 12.

 

I passed out last night, must be getting old, but it was my own fault, I laid down on the sofa and that's a huge mistake.. remember watching the first few rounds of Lopez Santana and then I went lights out.

Embarrassing behaviour from me, I should know better. So I'll have to watch in full later.

But from the highlights I saw, Spence Jr looks better after the accident

 

As expected easy money Spence Decision -125. Should have went bananas on that. He won that 8-4/9-3/10-2. Danny is a good fighter but he lacked footwork to get past the Spence jab. Great job by Spence. Crawford must be next.

 

Good! I hope pac has your confidence and more people feel like you as well so Spence will be the underdog at the books and I can make a small fortune by betting on him.

I should have put money on it going the distance and Spence by decision I knew it would. Could have made some easy money smh, atleast somebody did.
