Yeah, I definitely agree, Ugas is hard to look good against. Awkward style, good counterpuncher, solid chin, doesn't throw a lot of punches. Ugas style makes ugly fights, and I had it a draw, 114-114. That being said, I thought Porter had a bad game plan. It very well could of been a product of his weight cut though. He's in a tough spot as he ages and the weight doesn't come off the same anymore. He's a very thick WW, with a wide back and big legs. But he would be a midget at 154. I think both Spence and Bud would carve Porter up bad.

    Porter.

I don't get it, PBC keeps putting on these mismatches that turn into legit fights. Either someone really knows wtf they are doing, or nothing is going according to plan.

Porter was never an elite welter, it's a myth. He's just a physical brawler.
Top guys are Spence and Crawford, rest are just top contenders.

Crawford should fight Ugas and avenge his amateur loss.

I re-watched it. It was definitely a KD. Ugas hit Porter and Porter went down. I don't know how Reiss missed it.

I felt like Ugas deserved at least a draw and even to win with that KD.
Personally for me Danny Garcia and Porter were never elite at 147. I know that Thurman barely won against both of them but still he was fighting with an injury and after an injury in those fights.

147 is weak division currently.Crawford got poor resume and Spence will be fighting a midget that is moving up 2 divisions. Brook`s best win was Porter in a clinchfest and Thurman is always injured.

Pacman is probably still the best at 147 even at this age.

Thurman might wanna retire. He's too fragile for boxing.

Yeah I thought it was a knockdown as well. Could have changed the decision depending on how the one judge scored the round. Still Ugas did way too much posturing, instead of letting his hands go. He would have won the fight with a bit more effort.
