    Round 3

Kamegai is tanking in as Gomez lights him up with jabs on the outside, keeping distance, using lots of directional changes and swooping bent-knee dips to either side, punching all the while, straight & sharp. Kamegai is blocking 90% of it but not getting close enough to get anything off. Kamegai rips hooks at the body, hitting elbow or flank, by Gomez's kidneys when Gomez moves in to greet him with a stalling/smothering push.

    10-9 Gomez

    30-27 Gomez

I like how Kamegai doesn't even bother with footwork, he just walks in :D

Kamegai's pressure is gonna start effecting Gomez's old ass in a round or two.

Indeed, a Thai ref. Neither Kondo or the ref seem to have been in a bout afterwards

    Round 4

Kamegai is walking straight in, gloves up, waiting until inside. Gomez is leading with the right, doubling up on it. Gomez has a point deducted for headbutting by Raul Caiz Sr. (who already had warned him, and it was flagrant). Gomez is firing the 1-2 and following up with two more consecutive rights on the head. Kamegai is getting stunned now by Gomez's jabs. Kamegai is hesitating to come in. Gomez is scoring every time Kamegai steps forward.

    9-9 (10-9 Gomez minus point)

    39-36 Gomez
