    Speaking of deceptive records...

J.C. Martinez held 17-0 (12) Golden Boy prospect Abraham "Chamaco" Lopez to a draw on the non-televised undercard. :deal

Too early to decide if Nevin will be a dud as a pro yet, i refuse to believe he can beat far better opponents in the WSB and look good doing it, but has left all his skills at the door vs poor opponents in the pros. i think he just doesnt give a **** at the moment, which i hope will change once his level of opponent goes up.

Aside from that, there are few example of good Irish amateur stars being **** pros.

Kavanagh has always been average as a pro, but I he was never a top amateur at senior level, so I am not that surprised at his lack of success, because he never did at the highest level in the upaid game. he's a KO waiting to happen for the next half decent opponent he faces.

His record is like orlando salidos, bunch of ugly losses early in his career then something just clicked and he put it all together

Everyone should take a look at Gerpaul Valero's record for that same reason, 2 very odd streaks

    Round 3

Frias is jabbing with Rios but getting herded into corners and bashed with right hands, some just landing on his shoulder but all of them causing him to wince and turn his body away, left arm raised protectively. Frias is jabbing his way off the ropes with Rios breathing down his neck, peering at him over the tops of his gloves. Rios is applying staccato pressure, stepping in and reining up, taking aim with 1-2s on the body, everything in straight lines and very predictable, as Malignaggi comments upon. No variance in attack or speed. Frias flicks some jabs into Rios' guard and is slapping away down below with underhanded rights. Frias actually connecting more, although it's all light backfoot shots.

    10-9 Frias

    29-28 Rios

Yeah I agree he's good but not a great KO artist.

    Round 4

Frias is letting Rios come inside, riding the airport terminal conveyor belt, and jumping in to head him off with uppercuts combos thrown in midair. Frias is jabbing Rios in the face and darting backwards as Rios counters with the 1-2, a beat too late. Rios is walking Frias into the corners but getting outscored there with Frias getting to him first with his longer and more well-timed jab.

    10-9 Frias

    38-38

Castellanos may not be a one punch KO artist, but he's accurate and hits hard enough to break guys down after a while. Ask Rocky Juarez about that.

    Round 5

Frias is ducking the jumping 1-2 of Rios and tagging him with counter overhand rights bang on the nose. Frias is waiting for Rios in the corner or by the ropes and springing ambushes on him, either tying up or counter-punching depending on whether or not Rios is punching on the way in - and that's 50-50. Lead left uppercuts on the body by Rios, counter flurry by Frias. Rios backed off by a double jab from Frias.

    10-9 Frias, close

    48-47 Frias
