Welp, Hunter is getting a pasting right now from those right hands. Maybe I shouldn't have switched. :patsch:rofl

19-19. Hunter got cut, but controlled more of that stanza, and Rene's late flourish wasn't enough to swing it, imo.

Hm Hunter's head movement is actually surprisingly good this round, he's turning the tides.

    Round 3

Alvarado is staying on Hunter, throwing away jabs and bringing the right hand over the top, planting it squarely between Hunter's eyes. Hunter is using reflex-based defense, hands low, twisting his upper body away, hoisting up his left arm like a catch-pole. Hunter is switching his stance and occasionally getting drawn into exchanges backing up and landing hooks on the face of Alvarado.

10-9 Alvarado, close, drowning Hunter in work-rate

    30-27 Alvarado

    Round 4

Hunter is sticking mostly with orthodox now, left arm swinging by his side, throwing crisp left hooks in rhythm as Alvarado leans in throwing light voluminous flurries. Hunter is using quick feet, sashaying to his left, leaning back to dodge and countering smoothly with the left hook and short right hand. Alvarado now cut.

    10-9 Hunter

    39-37 Alvarado

Hunter's in a nice groove now. Fitting that Philly is hosting consecutive blood-baths.

    Round 5

Alvarado is doubling jabs up at the head, leaning in, lobbing body shots in bunches, laying against Hunter, tired. Left hooks from the hip by Hunter. Flush right hands on the nose by Hunter backing Alvarado into he ropes. Alvarado is throwing 5:1 but getting outlanded by maybe double. Just far more efficient work and crisper punches - and more defense - by Hunter.

    10-9 Hunter

    48-47 Alvarado

    Round 6

Alvarado is hooking with Hunter, and losing on that front. Alvarado is caught with a double lead hook and grazed with a right hand backing up, though he raises both gloves over his face loosely to reduce the sting of Hunter's punches. Hunter is throwing left hooks around the guard of Alvarado, backing him up and countering him every time Alvarado deigns to lead.

    10-9 Hunter

    57-57
