Whilst I most certainly wouldn't throw them out if drunk, those are NOT some of the Hotter Corona chickies we've seen lately :think

Antonio Tarver is back on Tuesday, November 26th! He is headlining the FS1 card that night, against 38-year-old heavyweight journeyman Mike Sheppard.

Sheppard has been in with names like Chauncy Welliver, Nicolai Firtha, Vinny Maddalone, Brian Minto, Cliifford Etienne, Denis Boytsov, and Ruslan Chagaev - but he lost to all of them and was KTFO by most. :yep

I guess Milk Dud gave up on Project Cruiser and has decided to resume the HW campaign he left off in 2010. Jesus, has it really been four years and change since the end of his light heavyweight career? :blood

How'd Spence look? Wasn't able to catch the bout early enough.

Are these MNF's cards mostly to do with promoting the Olympians?

Not only have I noticed the cards are stacked with them, but they all seem to wear Red, White, and Blue out there :think

Mailgnaggi and his co-host are interviewing Tarver. He still wants a heavyweight title and is serious about that. He feels he is naturally quicker than any heavyweight and while they are bigger and stronger he maintains faith in his quickness, chin, and his overhand left being his equalizers.

Really good considering the step up he was taking. Lartey is solid and Spence mostly outclassed him, despite shying from combat and getting dominated in the final round.

He looked better than Rau'Shee, as usual.

I think it's just that GBP has signed most of the US team from London, and what else are they gonna do to showcase 'em any better?

It's either put them deep on non-televised PPV undercards, or let them be co-features or headliners on less significant (but still nationally televised) midweek cards. :good

I don't think MNF/TNF were created specifically for their sake, but it certainly works out conveniently for GBP to have such a roster of 'branded' talent and to have a regular platform to have somewhere to put them.

Agreed, but I always forget what dire straits he was in during that twelfth after not having seen it for a while. :scaredas:

It's cool they occasionally do that "...from the Golden Boy vaults..." thing before cutting to commercial. :thumbsup

    Round 1

Charlo is sticking his left jab into Rodriguez's body and circling wide to his left. Rodriguez unrolls a long right jab, taking his time and looking for openings. Slick duck in mid-step and some shake and bake on bent knees by Charlo to avoid a Rodriguez flurry. Charlo hurts Rodriguez with a right hand and follows up with several sharp shots to the body and head as Rodriguez backs up and leans over to one side. Chopping rights and left hooks by Charlo. Rodriguez ties up. Break. Wide right hook by Rodriguez, ducked. Rodriguez pumps a few southpaw jabs out lightly, feeling out the distance. Hard right hand by Charlo, rubbing Rodriguez's shoulders as he drops below it. Left hand by Rodriguez at the bell.

    10-9 Charlo
