Double jab by Rodriguez. Charlo is using fast twitch movements to stay off it and forcing his left jab in, singles and doubles thrusting his lead foot in with them. Rodriguez is circling and trying to time his 1-2, getting parried with straight shots by Charlo. Rodriguez jabs into Charlo's gloves, then gets backed up by a hard double jab and right cross.

Charlo is backing up a few steps, fake-jabbing when Rodriguez follows and then flinching away to make him miss only to boomerang in with a crisper jab. Slapping hooks by Charlo as he circles left and ducks Rodriguez's jab. 1-2 by Charlo falling in, missing. Charlo backs out before Rodriguez can hit him with anything. Body shot by Charlo.

Charlo is circling and hooking quickly, catching Rodriguez walking in and puffing his right eye up. Solid right hand over the top by Charlo backing up. 1-2 into the guard, knocking Rodriguez into a backward tilt. Right hand lead, left hook by Charlo with Rodriguez pressing in behind a weak double right jab. Charlo lands a right on the chest and then pushes off Rodriguez with his palms. Rodriguez flutters in the jab and chops with a left. Fast straight combo by Charlo on the inside, driving Rodriguez out.

Round 5

Charlo is BLASTING Rodriguez with straight head shots, all flush and very hurtful. Rodriguez drops low and swivels, lowering his head out of the way but still getting hit. Rodriguez moves in to clinch but is bumped back and drilled some more. There is nothing Rodriguez can do, lacking the athleticism or strength to keep up with or elude the man eleven years his junior or to keep a lid on him by mauling. All he can do is rely on his chin to weather the storm, taking his most of his damage in mid-ostrich impersonation and thus limiting some of their impact. Rodriguez is flashing in some light spanking combos to the body while sloucher over in his low position but doing nothing to slow Charlo down.
