Charlo has a title belt in one arm (either the WBC Continental Americas 154lb or the USBA 154lb - either way, nothing of any note) and his epically curly-haired son in the other, spinning around in the center of the ring to show them both off for the crowd.

I don't think either of his belts were on the line tonight.

    Nor the kid. :yep

He and his twin brother Jermall (no really, Jermell and Jermall ) are both must-see prospects. :good

Iron Man improves to 22-0 (11). Don't be fooled by the 50% KO rate. He can hit.

Silver Boy falls to 17-3-1 (2). He does actually have as little power as his record implies. :yep

There's barely a mark on the confidence-oozing but not arrogant Charlo, while Rodriguez looks a mess. (physically, with all the bruising and nicks and puffs - and emotionally, as this was maybe his last chance to reestablish himself and he gave his best only to come up short)

Funny you should make that analogy...

I am actually a Celtics fan. Always will be...and I honestly think I would be even if not from here. You won't find me hopping on the Heat bandwagon, no matter how close they get to LBJ's bold prediction on their manifest destiny and # of titles in their future.

I'm about that long-standing tradition going along with the name, "the Boston Celtics". I don't care much about the fancy new uniforms or facilities or all the big name stars or the sunny climes down there in South Beach. I roll with the deeply entrenched history...even in a down year, even when the coaches, players, and management are not thought much of. :good Things will turn up. Meanwhile, the Heat won't be on top forever...and when things cool down for them, all the success will still be only a drop in the bucket compared to what the C's franchise has to show for itself over its long existence. 8)
