Hidalgo is chucking right hands and left hooks into the belt line coming in. Diaz is landing right jabs on the face and lefts downstairs. Flurries off the right jab by Diaz, finishing with the right hook.

Diaz is countering with the right jab as Hidalgo fishes for body shots. Hidalgo is backed up by a right hook on the body. Hidalgo jabs into the guard and rushes inside. Left uppercut on the body by Diaz. Left hand by Diaz, stepping out and making Hidalgo lunge and miss with a right.

Diaz lands a left on the body. Hidalgo thinks it was low. Diaz parries Hidalgo's left jab off his right wrist. Body shots by Hidalgo, circling in close. Diaz walks Hidalgo across the ring and whips him with lefts. Two consecutive lefts for Diaz. Hidalgo is slapping the body with hooks. Diaz puts the left upper behind the lead right hook.

Left hand lead by Diaz. Hidalgo circles away. Diaz snipes with the left. Right jabs and left uppercuts by Diaz, finding spots around the guard and up the sides as Hidalgo turns away by the ropes. Hook off the jab by Diaz. 1-2 by Diaz. Another. Hidalgo shells up, backed into a corner.
