Agreed. I was busy listening to the commentators, so I'm not sure whether it was his corner screaming at him to ramp it up or whether it was his own instincts, but either way that was good awareness to know he was on the verge of dropping a point and turning it completely around, leaving no doubt. Poor Aguilera must feel shellshocked, it had to have seemed in the bag for him and he only comes out with the participation-bade nine points (and lucky to have survived, in all honesty)

Breazeale is jabbing into Aguilera's gloves and looping the right around into the side of the head and under the elbow, digging into his ribs. Aguilera is rocked into a corner and manages to fight his way free with a 1-2 and some body slaps. Breazeale is circling right and shoving off with his forearm as Aguilera leans in on him and scrapes with a few no-leverage arm-punching body hooks.

Breazeale is finding Aguilera difficult to find with his probing jab, Aguilera bobbing to either side. Breazeale keeps patiently walking him down and starts to chop at the head of Aguilera with right hands. Aguilera leans forward attempting to grind in and clinch but takes hooks by the ear, some missing wide and behind, causing Breazeale's forearm to slam into the back of the neck and cause even more damage than a hook might've. More right hands from Breazeale as Aguilera shells up.

Round 5

Breazeale is scrubbing the top of Aguilera's head with the jab and then shoving him away into outer range with both arms. Aguilera is reaching up and catching Breazeale with stiff jabs but paying for it, Breazeale landing the clubbing right hand. Aguilera is backed into a corner. BIG UPPERCUT from Breazeale. Aguilera flops his upper body into a deep bow and then jerks upright, tossing jabs out from his tight guard. Breazeale loads up a fat left hook and is countered nearly off-balance by an Aguilera hook.
