Round 1

Colon is darting in and out landing jabs on the forehead. Garcia swipes with a left hook on the pivot as he takes a wide ponderous step around Colon. 1-2 on the crown by Colon. Garcia is buzzed. A few more swiping hooks by Garcia stepping left. Hard chopping right with an aggressive inside step by Colon. Garcia buzzed again.

Round 2

Colon is leading with hooks from outside, misjudging and overreaching. Garcia is answering back with hooking combos on the body leaning in, guard up in between punches. Mid-range exchanges, steady clip, both grazing. Colon starts putting together right hands with the hook and backing Garcia up. Garcia trots a couple of steps to his right and then falls into a clinch behind a lazy jab. 1-2 up top by Colon, blocked on the elevated wrists but followed by a hard left rip downstairs. Colon tags Garcia with a heavy right and Garcia smiles at him while tying up, acknowledging the blow.

Round 3

Colon is dispensing with the jab and the intermittent straights on the body he used in the 2nd, throwing all hooks and crosses up top, switching the lead up every couple of combinations, 3-2 and 2-3 by turns. Garcia is wobbled by a right hand but continues to circle and line up his left jab from the chin, occasionally lobbing a long overhand right in behind it from outside. Colon darts nervously in and out throwing left hooks and right crosses. Garcia is tagged atop the skull by a right hand and loses his balance, grabbing at Colon's waist but slipping and falling, ruled a KD. Colon presses in with more power combos, but is giving plenty of respect, never lingering in the pocket, hopping out after each couplet.
