Yeah I caught this at the pub. Granted I was getting drunk and playing trivia (quite well I might add), but I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be... It's all I've seen other than highlight vids on youtube so I know it's not my place to be making claims or anything, but imo based on this fight, I think all those saying he walks all over Kats are kidding themselves. If these two meet I give Kats more than a punchers chance of winning and would actually pick him to win but it seems the general consensus is Valero flattens him. Kats aint no Demarco and though Valero's combinations were great, as sparse as they were, I think it's a MUCH closer fight than ppl give it credit for. His record speaks volumes, but it's still missing the upper echelon of the division and I think they're atleast on a par skill wise. Would be a GREAT fight though!
I have said it before & as much as i hope Katsidis would win...i would back Valero to stop Katsidis in the 2nd half of the fight
Have to agree. Whilst we have a limited number of boxers fighting out of Australia, we have to be realistic ,and not get carried away by overstating their abilities due to patriotism.
