Even Bute knew he lost that fight.

Looked like a quit job to me, which sucks because of Victor had more ***** these days we would have had an action packed rematch

Ortiz definitely quit once again. He is a quitter. The reputation is so firmly set in stone at this point. He was even a quitter in Dancing with the Stars, his 19 year old dancing partner was so frustrated with his awful attitude.

Look at right before the ref waived it off, he looked right then left real quick which gave the ref the impression he didn't want to continue.. he even tapped the ref after he waived it off... He quit again imo.

I don't think so, he's not that good of an actor, he genuinely looked out of it.

Ortiz "quit." Probably more so than in any other bout of his.

Do you think that's it for Ortiz, he's done?

Yep. Unless he's OK taking 20K paychecks for the next several bouts. Something tells me a pre-30 retirement, for good, is close to certain for Victor. A shame. I have long and will always properly point out that he gave us some tremendously entertaining fights from 2009-2016 (09-12 particularly, one of if not the single most "entertaining" there was).

Absolutely. Plus he's crazy in an amiable sort of way.

I was thinking about the **** he seems to be getting for... capitulating somewhat. If he does retire now, I would hope this 'quit job' isn't held against him. I mean, he no doubt believed he still had the stomach for it going into this fight. If he realised he was kidding himself when he caught that sweet uppercut, and hangs them up, it doesn't reflect badly on him at all imo.

*chin though, that is some shameful ****.
