Fragile fighters.

Dominick Cruz in MMA has to be the most fragile fighter ever. He was a dominant champion at 135lbs but tore his ACL out 6 months and given a cadaver graft. Body rejects it and is out another 8 months. Starts rehab and training before tearing his other ACL out another 8 months. Finaly comes back and demolishes a top contender in less than 2 minutes. While training to reclaim his title he tears his groin. Another year off. Comes back and wins his title back haaving never lost it in the ring ala Ali/Frazier 1. Beats the interm champ to regain his belt and defends it once before getting decisioned in a great fight. Currently n the bench after breaking his arm training for a number 1 contender match.

It's a damn shame too. He's one of my favorite fighters to watch.

 

Not denying the paper skin I just wanted to point out that when someone has sharp and prominent facial features, especially checkbones/orbital bones and brow bones/supraorbital ridge, by nature of that they will cut very easily regardless of the type of glass their skin is made of. Jorge Linares has very prominent and sharp orbital and supraorbital features.

 

Not a big MMA fan but Cruz is one of the few MMA fighters I legitimately look forward to and enjoy watching. Brilliant fighter.

Can't stand that Garbrandt clown. I ****ing hope Cruz gets another shot at him and is healthy so he can wreck that dickhead.

 

Oscar Rivas and his problems with his eye are stopping him for years to step up...
