Your whole post was refutely easily by Zakman. I won’t repeat it for you. You know you were refuted and now you are embarrassed. That is too bad. As far as you repeating questions, don’t bother. Where in my post was I talking to you?

    Glass Jaws are serious business.

This is ESB and we speak the language of Chin.

If you don’t like it, hit the road denier.:deal:

And yet, these ignoramuses deny that Wilder has a glass jaw? How many times does he have to hit the deck against tomato cans (Nichols, Sconiers) or get wobbled (too many to count) against mediocre "competition" for these clowns to admit it?

No matter, this fragile mandible WILL get shattered IF Wilder's management puts him in with Joshua. Count on it.

Honestly, I think I would rather be deaf or blind than to have been cursed with a glass jaw. Nothing disgusts me more than so called 'men' who have glass jaws or even ones who have average or below punch resistance.

Glass jaw can be the undoing of an otherwise promising fighter

Can be the difference between area level/world level

Agreed. So much of a fighter's punch resistance is a composite of these variables, which is why we see apparently sturdy-chinned fighters take round after round of punishment from one puncher but get starched by another. It's so much more than just a matter of physiology.

I think it a fighter routinely gets their lights put out from punches that they can see coming then it's correct to label them as having glass jaws. But I suspect a true glass jaw is a lot rarer than we think, just as a true iron jaw is. Human physiognomy can't account for that great a degree of difference, which is where things like anticipation (seeing the shot coming), ability to roll with shots (relaxation under fire), and heart (willingness to fight through pain) come into play, among other things.

A fighter like Khan for example has a below average chin, but he also fights recklessly and often throws crazy fast flurries which doesn't give his brain adequate time to react to incoming fire. Couple that with his predictable rhythm and it's easy to see why so many fighters have been able to buzz him.

A fighter like Vitali on the other hand had an above average chin, but he was great at anticipating and rolling with shots which meant he rarely took anything flush. He also had a great heart and was determined never to wilt under fire, which saw him through fights with brutal punchers like Lennox and Sanders, even if was eventually stopped by Lennox.

Then you have someone like Wlad, who I think actually had a pretty decent chin but would tend to panic when put under fire, which would see him shipping further blows and eventually hitting the deck. Almost all his stoppages were caused by multiple knockdowns involving prolonged damage though, which at least shows me that he could physically take a punch.
