So what went wrong tonight Mark? Some guys who I don't know who post on a internet forum said I wasn't very good and it ate away at my self belief and confidence. I was shattered and was in the wrong frame of mind when it came to fight.atsch
I think you need to start a mark quon fan club or go look for one if you are only looking for inspirational comments. Boxing forums generally have a whole range of opinions....positive, negative and somewhere in between.
This was obvious from the get go. I hope the muney was worth it cause he sure as hell ain't comin back from that
Shame on them for getting Quon this fight and making him belive he had a chance, this was embarasing to watch imo and Quon will more than likely now retire from boxing. He looked pretty dam hopless. I will throw the fight on youtube today. Will should have thrown the towl in or stoped the fight, Quon was never in it. To me it goes to prove my point about these guys padding their records and gaining a false confidence in their abilities, i think the same thing will eventually happen to Tominlson when he faces one of the world elites in boxing.
Quon had a go and came up short. There's no shame in that. There is shame, though, in a **** like Ty who gets behind a keyboard acting like a know all when he himself is petrified of getting in there. It was great seeing an Aussie for for the Commonwealth title, Aussie champ v Celtic champ. Bad luck Mark. At least you won't die wondering unlike some.
A peach of a right hand by Frampton. I'll be interested to watch him progress. Tough outing for Mark, but well done for taking the challenge to fight for the Commonwealth belt.
I wasnt overly impressed with frampton watching that. Few bad habits there, i dont think he's fast enough or has the head movement to fight with his hands low. He looks strong though. Big wraps on him but i wouldnt be rushing him thats for sure.
He is one of the very few Australian fighters that have had to travel for almost all of their title fights and then to go to Ireland without your trainer... stoopid as. I know you are supposed to jump @ these kind of chances, but fuk me he was neva gonna win. Livanos can't fight a lick and he had Quon gone in his last fight. He looks like a true Aussie though so good luk to him
Good to see Aussies fighting for the commonwealth title. Its a shame that a lot of them go down the route of these IBF pan pacific titles and the like where the opposition is dreadful. Wouldn't be too harsh on Quon. Frampton really is the goods. Id take him to beat the IBF champ Ndlovu at the moment.
