Hate to let the facts get in the way of your cute fantasy but....
LSC has been feasting on a diet of washed up , worn out flyweights in their 30's and continues to do so now.

Tell me the names of world class, prime, career super bantams, in their twenties that Leo has "savagely ko'd".......
    Well, go on, I'm waiting....:silly

Only thing in the way of Frampton dominating at 122 is Rigo which is nothing to be ashamed of. A year and half/2 years down the line and Frampton gives Rigo a lot of problems. Top talent.

LSC is overrated as hell. Frampton should be favourite here based on both fighters skills, level of comp, credible wins, etc. but of course as usual hype is rated over substance.

From the similar thread in the British forum, with some additions:

LSC is very good, I know. But it is HE who has never seen anyone like Frampton before, trust me. He has been dealing with old, blown up flyweights well into their thirties. Frampton weighs 131 - 133ibs in the ring, a lot more than Leo, even more than several guys that compete at feather, like donnaire, darchinian etc.

Frampton has a 1-punch ko against a top level world champion career super bantam, in his 20's, in his prime - Kiko Martinez.
No one else has come close to doing this to Kiko - before or since.

LSC couldn't even stop the likes of the ancient stick insect thin Vusi Malinga.
The guys LSC has beaten in no way compare to CF, either in youth , freshness, size, strength , skill or two handed punch power.

Not saying he would win easily, no one wins easily against LSC. Tough fight for Carl. But I do favour Frampton slightly in this one.

(FWIW I also favour him to beat Quigg.)

Fair play on your comments, i think Frampton would be the under dog but remember Frampton is a real strong fighter in that division and holds his power to the end, I love this fight i think Frampton may shock a few people in this fight..
Forget about Quigg i think Frampton is a real solid contender in this division i dont see Santa Cruz blasting him out no way!

WTF is this about LSC brutal KO he isn''t a big puncher Carl hits way harder then him if anyone is getting KTFO its LSC, of course Cruz can win and IMO its a real 50/50 but anyone who thinks LSC just walks all over Frampton and wins easy hasn't seen Carl fight. One thing is clear neither man will have been in with anyone as good as the other in fact i'd say Carl has beaten the best fighter and has the best win over someone who went on to become a WC and Carl KO'd him in real style when nobody had come close to stopping KIKO. LSC hasn't fought a real top class SBW he has fought blown up Bantam and SFW's trust me this would be by far LSC toughest fight and if i had to call it i think Frampton wins.

i think it's you who needs to be careful if they do fight. because if you think he wipes out Frampton with ease, it'll be tears before bedtime on the night.

i'd edge it to Frampton if they fought. could even come by late stoppage after Leo getting frustrated and walking straight into a big one.

either way, Leo takes a beating whether he wins or loses.

Honestly think LSC is there to be beaten by Frampton. That followed by a unification rematch with Martinez and a fight with Quigg could see the young Irishman's stock abosutely soar.

Impressed by Frampton but not sure if he's got the slickness and defensive skills I feel might be needed to fight off Santa Cruz.
