Cazares looks very strong, hard puncher, tough nut - definitely dangerous.

Carl is right to treat this guy as a threat. This is his last shot at the big-time and he wont be turning up for a pay-day. He will becoming to win. It would be madness to treat this fight as a formality. This guy is a potential banana-skin.

I'm glad he knows rigondeaux is boss I remember Barry saying they were ready for him about a year ago. Stupid thing to say. Frampton will win this fight by k.o he has to talk the fight up

From what Ive seen he is physically strong. (That might seem like a strange thing to say about a guy moving up). Hard puncher. Experienced and tough.

On the downside he is older, smaller (though not a scrawny stick insect flyweight by any means) and away from home.

Looks a bit "wooden" or mechanical/slow/predictable to me. Telegraphs a lot of his punches. I think Carls speed will kill him, more than anything else. I hope so anyway. But deffo a potential banana skin.

Cazares is a tough fecker and a former two weight World Champion to boot albeit at lower weight classes.

If you disregard his early losses in the 1990's which most Mexicans always have, he's pratically unbeaten since the 2000's as he really should have got both decisions over Ivan Calderon and against Tomonubu Shimizu too.

He's also unbeaten at Super Bantamweight too and will give Frampton a very hard bruising fight with a possible upset on the cards too if Frampton isn't at his very best.

Total respect to Frampton for getting a World title shot the hard way, it will serve him very well once he does fight for the title later in the year.

    Agreed.

All these threads "Will Frampton be a PPV star?" "Will Frampton be back on Sky?" "Will Frampton this, will Frampton that...." :patsch

Lads - first he has to beat Cazares!

I like Frampton to stop him via body shot.

Cazares is a good fighter but he leaves his elbows well out. Frampton will love the room he has to work to the body.

Cazares en-route to Belfast today.....only travelling 1 week before fight. To get over the jet-lag and settle in etc I would aim for 10 days at least.
