This is way too soon for Frampton. Way too soon. I'd doubt he could win the domestic belt, let alone the European. I'd be very surprised if Kiko didn't finish it within the distance.

But hey, I'm not saying it's impossible. It would be a fantastic upset if Framption did it, and a great boxing moment. If he somehow pulls it off then consider me a big fan of his.

Frampton for me, his amateur experience is going to key.

the good thing about his last fight he went 12 rounds, mentally he knows he can go the distance.

frampton is not bernard dunne, however he should lose this fight. hes not as powerful and hard hitting as people think and im not sure he can outbox kiko. i think he will try to bang kiko out and end up getting hurt and trying to outbox kiko. kiko should get the stoppage like he did vs jason booth.

Given the hype on Frampton and Turly being completely unheralded, it was the Welshman who impressed me more to be honest.

    Frampton looked very basic.

Likeable fighter, terrible hairstyle, come back malignaggi, all is forgiven.

Of course Frampton is going to say he's ready now that the fight is made.

I don't know about this one, Frampton has the skills but doesn't have the experience yet (Turley to be fair, was a very awkward fighter and a good spoiler at times), he will have to be absolutely tip top at his best if he wants to beat Kiko.

What damage do you think this would do to Framptons name as a prospect if he were to lose this fight? I know it would be no shame for a young prospect to lose to Martinez, but a loss at this stage of his career?

I think Frampton's going to surprise people, it will act as his coming out party. I think he will find it tough (as everyone does against Martinez) but i can see him really outclassing the Spaniard

Its a big ask, he's hardly got any pro experience, and what happens if he wins? that the level all his fights will need to be at in the future.

Fine if your good enough and ready for it but I'm not entirely convinced. Good luck to him though at least he has the balls to try.
