    Frampton/Cruz 2

First off congratulations to both Cruz and Frampton for an excellent display picking up where they left off. Very brave fighters.

I think Frampton was being tough on himself. I saw that fight as a draw and Frampton was a class act in defeat.

Still one man that I dont think has been credited and who I think also did an excellent job was referee Kenny Bayless who let the fighters fight out. Fantastic job in my opinion

Not really a discussion thread but more of an appreciation thread to the 3 guys in the ring

You obviously have no idea how to score a fight.

Frampton hit Leo on the thigh and hip on numerous occasions and Bayless said or did nothing.

I'm sure if you Google Kenny you'll find plenty who have criticised his officiating in the past.

Oh so if someone doesnt agree with you... Foolish comment and made to look even more foolish when one judge had it even and the other 2 had it close. What did you score 120/108?
As for Bayless, many referees can be criticised for the job they do and of course they wont see everything, but I felt in that fight Bayless did a great job.
Perhaps it is you who does not know how to score

One judge had the first fight even too. Judges also unanimously scored for Ward over Kovalev claiming a judges card in anyway backs up your statement is silly. Santa Cruz was the clear winner of a fight that was close.

Once again you are wrong. You write clear winner in a fight that was close. That says it all there. Think about it

IMO Santa Cruz won a clear decision... in a fight that could have turned the other way in any instant.

The way Santa Cruz won was by keeping Frampton from imposing his will.

This seemed to be a result of very careful training to avoid extended exchanges where Frampton would eventually catch him with something big. There were several times in the fight where I thought it would happen, but it did not.

Santa Cruz and his team did exactly what a team at that caliber should- find the mistakes in the first fight and then nearly perfectly avoid the same mistakes in the second fight.

I will watch the third fight- good one.

The same judge that had the Frampton Santa Cruz fight even scored for Ward over Kovalev. The same ****ing judge! This is some CJ Ross kind of bull****.

GReat night for boxing it was! Looking forward to the 3rd fight. I like it when both fighters act like adults, won or lose :campeon:
