There's something not right about this whole episode. First he can't be bothered to make weight, now Gutierrez has been involved in an 'accident'? Yeah right. It was clear from the getgo this was a meh fight and his head / heart wasn't in it. Feel bad for the other fighters on the undercard like Conrad Cummings who've worked their socks off. Fans being mugged off for tickets as well. I'm a Frampton fan, but he's angered a lot of people with these antics, have a look under the official Cyclone statement on Facebook.
Let's wait for the full story. If Gutierrez can prove a genuine injury then it's just bad luck. Anything can happen..he could have gone over in his ankle, got poked in an eye...these things DO happen. But if he can't prove it then it WILL look fishy, no doubt...
Glad u see sense. Remember the visible cut may only be the tip of the iceberg....what about the stuff you don't see, dental injuries, concussion etc etc

Probably to do with the concussion and loss of teeth more than the cut. Either way a total shambles all round. I'm still sceptical of the injury until I actually see a full picture of the boxer with evidence showing the date. Bit convenient after Frampton missed weight. It was a **** fight anyway. Not bothered because it's all about AB tomorrow when he sparks Garcia.
