Yoandris 'the next Rigo' Salinas has fought three times since drawing with quigg, losing two of them.

Yet going off what Gallagher said he's a P4P in the making lolz

I think Ricky should get ZZ a shot against Carl.

Salinas went on to be KO'd by a guy with a so/so record of 15-7-1 and then quit after being knocked down shortly afterwards. He also cited a broken hand.

If Gonzalez Jr. did have a broken hand an continued to the end after knocking down his opponent in the first round he should be commended. That said I don't know anything about him having a broken hand other than it being said on this thread.

He was also coming down in weight which seldom seems a good idea and he did look big at the weight against Frampton.

Personally, I don't think we can read too much into Carl suffering two flash knock downs in the first and then thoroughly outboxing Gonzalez or Scott struggling with Salinas. He's clearly improved a fair bit since then.

Hang on a minute salinas dropped down to bantam when he got beat after the quigg fight and he was also big for the weight but no one went for that excuse

    Good post.

    About the hand injury:

With 2 good hands he dropped his man within the first round - so its likely had he not injured it he would have won big.
