Did anyone else notice Boxnation switching the microphone to block out the jeering crowd?

I thought Frampton performed well - ref did his job. However, I thought the show was poor. Odd entrance music. I know a lot of people at the show were dissapointed with the mismatches and the way the main event ended.

I thought his entrance music was class to be honest. Much rather see fighters come out to catchy old tunes like that than the latest shitty dance tune

I enjoyed it I have to say and I'd be one of the first to complain about one sided cards. Great to see Ormond and O'Kane hope to see more of them in the future.

I watched it last night on BT Sport and noticed the sound did go off..dont know why but you could hear the boo's as soon as Cazares name was announced for his ring entrance.

i was there, and i have to be honest, there wasnt too many boos when Cazares was entering the ring. It was fairly respectful imo.

Think there was a problem with speakers or something. Didn't hear Cazares being announced into the ring although in fairness it was pretty loud. plus music cut out for both ring walks a bit

Just before the start, when "Sweet Caroline" was playing and the crowd was singing, the sound went off. Everyone assumed the guy in control of the sound within the arena had turned it down so the crowd could sing the chorus.

10 seconds later the lights go down and I get my cue to start...nothing comes out of the mic! I hear the producer in my ear instructing to get the arena sound up but I don't know if the viewers on TV have sound so you just have to carry on.

The arena sound comes to life just as I shout Cazares name, then both his music and Carl Frampton's music cuts momentarily.

Later I find out that a switch had tripped inside the arena, supplying the sound deck which in turn supplies the production truck. This was an arena problem and nothing to do with TV.... It had initially tripped during "Sweet Caroline" but there was no way we could know as they rushed to find the switch while the startup was already in motion.

The jeering you heard was exactly as Buncey said, they were showing some replays on the giant screens while Frampton was being interviewed ringside and the screens went off for a moment.

The atmosphere there is fantastic, they absolutely love Carl Frampton. My only criticism, and it applies to every big show I go to, so many people, probably 50%+, buy a ticket for the show and don't watch the undercard. They go to the bars and don't come into the arena until 10-15 minutes before the main event. They often miss some great action that's all included in the ticket price

Entrance music was class, for anyone who's seen Ghostbusters II. But it did cut out when Car entered the ring, only to resume, interrupted, a while later.
