people are reading far too much into these press conferences.

They are funny, and entertaining, but in the broader scheme of things, they account for nothing in the actual fight.

Indeed Chrisbonnie. What I've noticed is most have said Quigg will win by KO not by boxing or on points, all going for a KO. Even Gallagher keeps trying to goad Frampton to get into a fight.

Honestly don't think they can outbox him, I'll be interested to see how Scott handles a sharp hitting world class counter puncher.

My experience is that most '50/50' fights with world class fighters don't end in a KO.

Barry was embarrassing, as he tends to be these days, Eddie was Eddie, same with Joe. Scott Quigg looks as relaxed & confident as i've ever seen him, he seems genuinely confident he'll stop Carl who looked ridiculous writing real champion on the paper, assuming there can only be one "real" champion it ain't him either. Why would prince patel be at a cyclone/matchroom press conference for a fight/card he has zero involvement with in a weight class he doesn't fight at, does he regularly traipse round the country to rival promoters press conferences, how does Frank feel about that?

I dont know, how does Frank feel about Mitchell Smith sparring and helping out Matchroom fighters in their camps?

We are in Oldham for a reason and decided to go along is that a crime?

Frampton performs better when he is riled up. Just look at his fights against Kiko and Avalos for proof.

Presumably Smith is paid for "helping"? It just seemed strange Patel would be there, based only on his ridiculous interviews i never thought his ego would allow him anywhere he wasn't centre stage without being contractually obliged to be there but nope no crime.

ahh Hve you made up with him

And how can achieve more than people who have never ever boxed...!

Don't judge people on you.. just cause you apparently had some blink and you'll miss it disastrous 6 months in amateur boxing that left you too traumatized to continue.

Prince Patel's amateur achievements were poor, average at best, he's nothing

Without wishing to do Quigg down, he doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the box so it's not a huge surprise to me that he hasn't been fazed by the size of the fight.

He seems a simple man, who lives for boxing - and that's not a bad thing.

Carl is definitely wound up and I'd say Eddie and Gallagher are the cause rather than Scott. He's seen first hand what a snake Eddie is and Gallagher well, he's just Gallagher isn't he? He's let his successes go to his head and now thinks he's some sort of super trainer. Anyone would think he was an Angelo Dundee type character the way he's going on...
