HE IS THE REAL DEAL :deal

hopefully he'll get the fame that his talent deserves

sick of seeing bums like amere con and fraudley getting celeb status despite either not getting to world level or not being good enough to stay there.

I hope frampton has some fights in USA and England as well in the future, hope he desont do a Ward - oakland job
though the belfast fight fans do create a great atmosphere

he already is a superstar in the UK you tosser
hes selling out big arenas in belfast
he probably sells more tickets than any other Uk fighter apart from Froch

:think Maybe up there, I don't know if he's #2 in the UK just yet.

Frampton vs. Parodi drew what, 9k at Odyssey?

Chisora vs. Pala - with a comparable undercard but next to nothing insofar as marketing, an originally scheduled opponent in Modugno who nobody had ever heard of and with Pala replacing him a week out - did only a thousand less selling out Copper Box.

Of course, Buglioni accounts for some of that with the strangely inordinate loyalty his modest talent inspires...but Frampton also had O'Kane for backing in Belfast.

...and certainly he needs to go abroad or at least import more big international names if he is to become a superstar outside the UK. A rematch with Kiko would help with that, but the likes of TTG Ankrah, green Mexican domestic level Hirales, and faded Canadian ex-titlist Molitor won't.

    your getting that mixed up
the Chisora - Pala fight was almost empty
    only about 2,000 people there

Chisora - is just another great black hope bum
black british fighters are currently very poor indeed

:huh The crowd were definitely quiet as the card was mostly dull until the main event (that's what you get when you put Skeete in the co-main, Rabbit-Hole :-( - and even Buglioni underwhelmed) but they supposedly had sold 3/4 of cap (6k) by the week before.

Skeete is one of the best UK talents atm
he punches with the correct side of the glove, Ive seen him bash up Leonard Bundu in sparring.

OK, even if that were true (and - no ) - you can acknowledge that he is as boring as they come and makes for untenable viewing, yes?

do the mcguigans know what they are doing with him?.....i mean, they must do, surely ?.....doesnt look like it.....but they must do........must be a wonderful long term plan for him, cause it looks like very poor career guidance at the moment

In what way Big D? He's higher in the Ring, WBC and IBF ratings than before and close to being made mandatory on the latter two. He'll fight for a world title in 2nd half of 2014. Seems a case of 'so far so good' to me.

Well Ok, slap. But there is no denying that he should be a lot more active, though, in fairness. Both for his own good and the fans.

the man who took his place at fast eddies has a world strap.....the man he beat (kiko) has another world belt....and are you sure he'll get one in less than 12 months...will kiko be keen to put his strap up against a man who beat him well ?.....will scott quigg, or more to the point, the man he left fast eddie, be prepared to give him a shot there, regardless of it being a bit money spinner ??....will wba real daddy rigo be of interest at all to frampton everything considered ?....so that leaves stanta cruz who has a fight lined up in a few months, and cruz will be a tall order for frampton although i think frampton would be my favourite....but its no certainty and depends on cruz not looking at kiko as being more beatable and grabbing his strap as well....and then maybe even a mega fight with rigo.
from where i am sitting it looks like frampton could....and i do say could...be left out in the cold this year........he's shown himself to be too good without having won a world title strap.....its only belfast being a place that will generate big money that makes him in any way a worthwhile proposition for a belt holder to go there.
he's not a mandatory yet...close as he is to it.
