    All hype, zero skill

World level you're having a laugh, if Frampton was fighting in my back garden i'd shut the curtains.

Just woke up. This fight made me fall asleep. Doesn't look the prospect that I thought. Where's the work rate? Might as well use the next to rounds as time to make snacks

This guy should stick to fighting tomato cans on BBC Ulster, ruining a good card.

He fought very well tonight and did what he had to do. It was a LEARNING expierence for when he fights at world level. Why take chances against a decent opponent? Frampton boxed excellently from the 6th round onwards.

It's not all about knockouts and brutal wars, Frampton will be challenging for world honours eventually, his ring IQ was excellent and he took a full blooded sucker punch after the ref said break from Hirales and took it clean on the chin which is a great sign for his future.

Dunno why people are complaining, great performance.

Nice boxing from Frampton at times, but an utter bore of a fight sadly. However Framps had to be careful, as SKY tol us beforehad- EVERY mexican fighter is dangerous:lol:

If he fights Munroe it could be the most boring fight in the history of boxing, they'll have to pay people to go watch it.

I think Sir Ray's presence is justified but Frampton was very boring yesterday and would do well to look at Froch's performance

All those 9,000 people screaming Froch's name will all be back for his next fight which will hopefully be Kessler in UK. You have to put on a show for the fans.

The 'all that matters is the win' mentality is fundamentally correct but risky on the way up. I feel Brook might run into problems if he doesn't remove the stick up his ass but thats a different fighter for a different thread

Exactly, excellent post mate. It was what his 14th pro fight? No one is saying he's world level yet but this was the perfect sort of fight to continue his progression.

I find it pathetic, he's completely decimated his last few opponents and perople were calling for a better opponent or at least someone who comes to fight. Now they got that and they still complain? I mean just **** off!

Frampton showed that he has good patience for such a young fighter and showed he knows how to stick to a gameplan. He boxed rings around Hirales for much of the fight and showed that he has multiple facets to his style, he can fight on the back foot as well.
