Frampton/McGuigan's

    If McGuigans indeed owe money then yes it is. BBofC need to change rules on contract if fighter not paid in full person not paying should lose their manger or promoters license and fighter should have option of terminating contract without recourse.

    Well he could claim against his manager (carl). He should be guiding his fighter and checking all the paperwork. Thats why i asked earlier in the thread who his manager was at the time. Was it mcguigans?
    If it was mcguigans then this is a good example to show that you shouldnt have the same manager and promoter

    If the talk that Frampton was owed money from the 2nd LSC fight and Barry was skimming ticket money are true then he was definitely right to walk away. Those saying he should have seen out the last fight of his contract - would you fight again if you hadn't been paid in full for the last one?!

    I never liked the setup with the McGuigans from the start. The whole thing was too much of a grey area and should have been ruled a conflict of interest for Carl - Blain as promoter, Barry as manager and Shane as trainer. Was always going to end like this given that setup.
