Frampton opponent announced tomorrow

    Frampton's opponent is being announced tomorrow for the Froch V Bute undercard.

    I have heard it could be Alejandro Lopez, may be completely wrong though

    Not heard of him before, so probably showing my ignorance. Looking at his record he's never fought outside of North America and he doesn't appear to be much of a banger. 28% KO record but never been stopped.

    I suppose another step up is about as much as you can say if confirmed, but after the prospect of Martinez it just seems a bit "meh".

    Just looked and hes got a victory over Teon Kennedy which is impressive, can't see it being such a good opponent so close to the fight though

    Mcguigan just posted that on Twitter, hopefully it's a good opponent.

    Lopez would be a very good opponent, beat Kennedy and arguably Jorge Diaz as well.
