Is that who's been announced then?

Looks really **** on paper apart from being unbeaten. 3 of his last 4 fights have been split or majority decisions and not against decent opposition either.

And Barry was bigging this up yesterday :patsch

    Barry McGuigan @ClonesCyclone
Going to announce Carl Frampton's next opponent on Ringside tomorrow. All those people who said Carl was fighting poor opposition#let's see

His win over Bernache looks decent. Bernache in the fight previously had stopped gatekeeper Valdez (has a 'win' over Montiel, pushed Ramos close etc.) inside four rounds*. Also, Huerta was a rated prospect before Wilson laid waste to him.

The opponent isn't as good as I had hoped, but still decent enough IMO.

Some people are never happy, seriously who were some of you expecting? Very respectable opponent and a step up from what the Jackel has faced so far.

Pretty record but poor on paper. Way too many SDs, draws, MDs etc At this stage he should be winning convincingly. You can have 1 or 2 passes but his record is littered with close calls.

Most honest about other promoters, yeah. When it comes to his fighters he's just the same as all of them.

Well if the IBO have him at 32 that changes everything

I think its a step up. Hirales would beat any of Framptons previous opponents. He is Mexican. He is undefeated and never been stopped. And he has more experience than Frampton at pro level.
By the way he is a little dirty too lol should be interesting!!
