Undefeated IBF Super Bantamweight world champion and emerging superstar Carl "The Jackal" Frampton is pleased to announce that he has signed a deal to work with influential boxing advisor Al Haymon.

Haymon currently works with a number of leading boxers including Floyd Mayweather, Amir Khan, Robert Guerrero , Adrien Broner, Erislandy Lara, Danny Garcia and many others.

Al Haymon will work as an advisor to Carl Frampton, who will continue to be managed by IBHOF member Barry McGuigan and promoted by Cyclone Promotions.

Speaking on the agreement, Frampton said: “I am very happy to have signed with Al Haymon. Al Haymon has a formidable reputation in boxing and has been the catalyst to securing the biggest fights in recent years. This is an exciting stage of my career after winning my world title, and my team and I know that this relationship with Al Haymon will help take my career to the next level. I am looking forward to it.”

Frampton's manager and former World Champion Barry McGuigan said: "We are delighted to add Al Haymon to the team. Al Haymon is the best at what he does, there is no question about this. Al works with many world class fighters in the super bantamweight and featherweight divisions, so there will be plenty of attractive fights for Carl in the coming years. Carl is moving towards the peak of his career and we believe this is the perfect time to strike up this partnership."

There will be news of Carl Frampton's second defense of his World Title coming soon.

I am sure they'll find Carl a flyweight he can feast on soon.

Quite sad really that you measure his success purely on the money he makes. Fans like you are killing the sport.

Great...... So he has one fight now that will be built for 2-3 years with Santa Cruz, till then he will be fighting nobodies until there is a big in house fight. To be fair though, this may help the making of the Quigg fight, Al and Eddie appear to have a good working relationship.

What was the alternative? Smash that mongol Quigg and then have that smug donut try and get into him?

That crew obviously see Fast Car's ways, and know what he's all about.

Quigg was an easy 1.5million. Whatever Frampton does now, that will be what he thinks about when his head hits the pillow.
