Makes me laugh how the Matchroom bots on here will spend hours going on about "muh $50million" and why Joshua deserves this and that; yet are the first to call out a non-MR fighter expressing in much less crass terms the same sentiment.

Frampton - a world class boxer - speaks well and honest, highlighting a genuine issue and people have a go at him in defence of a promoter. The game has certainly changed. Get a grip of yourselves.

If this fight is as big and as good as FW, Frampton and Warrington say it is then why are they crying?

It is a great opportunity to poke Hearn in the eye isn't it?

But we all know people are not going to buy a PPV card with an undercard of Metcalf, Williams, Heffron, Conlan, Barnes, Murray.

Hmmm now who's "conning the public"? :risas3:

He is right that in interviews Hearn has done, he has dismissed the notion that Frampton Warrington is competition to his show.

But he's fighting a lost cause, Fish eyes can say as many times as he likes that this a 'real fight' but we all know fast car has the casuals on strings and whatever he and sky sells they know that audience will buy it.

It’s got **** all to do with supporting matchroom or Eddie Hearn. PPV should be for the very best. BOTH these fights aren’t PPV worthy, both have **** under cards as it stands. A half decent domestic fight on the undercard doesn’t justify PPV, especially when you’ve got to subscribe to BT to then purchase a PPV on top of it. Just like on Hearn’s cards, Dave Allen putting socks down his pants at the weigh in because he’s got a micro ***** doesn’t justify it.

    Walsh v Belotti
    Metcalf v Williams

Both should be propping up undercards on your average Saturday fight nights.

And this is why something like DAZN is the future. No subscription to sky or BT then no added PPV costs. Just one subscription and you get all the content. I don’t know if they have already but if (first of all it was available in the UK) it had an app on the smart TV the way the likes of Netflix and amazon prime do then I’d be all over it.

I know a lot of Hearn haters will shoot it down so let’s just pretend a completely new company set up something similar in the UK then you’ve got to admit it really is a no brainer.

I've said it before but fights are PPV worthy in the same way some cars are worth ten grand and some are worth fifty; it's purely down to how much people are prepared to pay for them.

For example, Wilder Fury is a more intriguing, important and impacting fight than Haye Bellew, but if three times the people who bought the first bought the second, which is PPV worthy?

Of course Hearn also says that he had the date booked for the O2 before Warren announced the Frampton Warrington fight. The truth is out there somewhere I guess!

The above comments from Robert Smith are interesting. One thing Warren talks about from time to time is doing the right thing for fans and so one; this didn't seem to be the case with some awful PPV fights when he was showing events on Sky.

Thee is nothing stopping people buying Frampton v Warrington. The consumer has a choice and if they don't buy Frampton v Warrington that's not on matchroom.

Clashes happen in all kinds of entertainment some time or another. Films are released the same week, albums the same week, games the same week etc etc. Sometimes different boxing events will clash its just the way it is. To think it should matter who pencils in a date first is ridiculous.

Frampton has a cheek to go on about ego, after that shambles of a bout he was in at Windsor Park,

he choose the wrong promoter, he can now deal with the consequences

Why did Frampton go with Frank and not Eddie?

I think Frampton is kicking himself for choosing fish eyes.

Also I can see Hearns point of, if Warrington is as big in Leeds as he makes out and Frampton in Ireland then they shouldn't need to worry about two London based heavyweights having a scrap. Still petty and derogatory to boxing in this country, absolutely no need.
