We need to see Frampton - Quigg next or definatley the fight after next for both guys.

The talk from team Frampton about having the real world belt has been extinguished now that Quigg has annihilated Martinez in 2. Plus if there going the PBC route then Haymon doesn't even acknowledge the IBF belt or anything on the broadcasts so that's almost been rendered irrelevant anyway.

On that showing - (yes I know he re-grouped well and won widely) but Santa Cruz with his height and reach would be a nightmare for the jackal - even more so if Carl went up to feather where he would be dwarfed.

If I was Hearn I would be slapping a big offer into Haymon this week (not waving round a silly cheque or any other of his publicity stunts) do business the professional way. Keep it confidential especially when your dealing with the likes of Haymon who don't involve himself in silly games and see what comes back.

Word is he has a 3 fight deal with Haymon. 2 fights likely in the US, one in UK.

I think Quigg will be next. That way, if he loses, he can still have a big comeback fight with one of the big names in the US.

Also, I think Carl is (naturally) at least as big as Mares, Russell, and the likes.

People calling the guy he fought a nobody, you must not know boxing. The guy had some real skills.

Quigg Frampton next is probably a bigger fight now than 6 months ago. lets do it already

You could quite easily say Alejandro Gonzalez Jr then and now. When this fight was announced everyone was slagging it off it as Gonzalez was clearly hand picked to make Frampton look good on his U.S debut. Now all of a sudden the guy is a World beater.
