Frampton turns down IBF eliminator??

I'm guessing the O2 in Dublin would not hold 14,000 for boxing given it would be an all seater event.

The best outdoor stadium would be the Aviva but I couldn't see any Frampton fight in the near future selling anywhere close to the Aviva's capacity of 50,000.

 

Take the fight to Casement park aslong as they haven't started the re devlopment by then .

 

Windsor Park in Belfast holds 18,500, but you could get over 20,000 easy for a boxing event. There's nothing better than a open air boxing event and i was lucky to be at one when Mike Tyson fought at Hampden Park and it was pishing of rain that night.

Your all overthinking this. His team thought they could reach agreement with Martinez and couldn't. They've put all there eggs in one basket and now are up **** creek. He's been badly advised and horribly managed

Now that makes most sense. Big mistake not going with Hearn as I think Frampton could be a star of the future.

 

If Kiko had a pair he would give Carl the fight now try get revenge instead of fighting an easier man in Quigg, he knows Frampton will do the same to him again, as for Quiggs team Gallagher ect they will run and run from Carl for as long as possible. Frampton really should not have left Eddie he would have become champion by now if he hadn't and a real one unlike Quigg

 

Frampton never wanted to be promoted by Hearn and he choose to stay loyal to Barry McGuigan. People need to realise boxing has been about a lot longer than Eddie Hearn has.

No doubt about it he'll be a world champion soon enough and a long standing one at that in my opinion. He's already selling out arena's as it is. Once he's world champion, he's going to be massive.

People who have been following Frampton from the beginning know he was always with McGuigan who promoted him on Setanta Ireland/Premier Sports before they put him on some Sky/Matchroom shows. That was early 2011, before Eddie took the reigns at Matchroom.

This talk that Eddie Hearn has built up Frampton is nonsense.

 

Frampton will end up fighting kiko they will reach a deal. Makes me laugh people saying kiko is running he was in the fight until the ko he prob just wants his fair share of the purse as the current champ

 

Hope he fights Santa Cruz , Framptons a future star in that divsion no doubt about it!

 

I understand his issues with Hearn but should of stayed at least until he was made mandatory. He left and since then has fought once, in an eliminator for IBF, if he'd stayed with matchroom untill the end of 2013 I have no doubts he'd be at least mandatory right now. Let's hope McGuigan does know what he's doing and isn't making it up as he goes along which it looks like he's doing

 

Thing with Carl is things could happen very fast and he could become massive, if he does fight Kiko he will likely win, then the world is his oyster big fights in America with the likes of LSC, Donaire and of course the Quigg fight. Many have compared Frampton's position to Quiggs but think about it, Quigg won't get much if any bigger, non of the American networks mention him among the big names, notice Showtime and GB seem to mention Frampton as a potential opponent but never Quigg, they clearly rate Carl as better and rightly so IMO. Frampton also has a big following that will only grow, he filled 9000 seats fighting a nobody, imagine if he was to bring a top name to Ireland or the UK easily stadium fights to be made. I mean Quigg will never be a big star, he just hasn't the drawing power or fanbase, if Carl can get a shot at Kiko and win he will leave the Quigg trailing behind him. Frampton has the potential to be a big star on both sides of the Atlantic.
