This ^ needs to be said.
    Rigo is not invincible.
He has not destroyed every opponent.
Lets not forget that Cordoba gave Rigo a lot of trouble.
Remember Cordoba? Bernard Dunne ko'd him. Kiko ko'd Bernard Dunne. Carl ko'd Kiko.

I know this circular type of reasoning proves very little in boxing, but Carl can hit with both hands and 12 rounds is a long time - plus Rigos chin is unproven....what if Carl gets to him and smells blood....

If Frampton's stance on Santa Cruz is firm (Ringside) then we won't see Frampton Quigg any time soon. They probably believe they will go and dethrone the current crop of BW world champions (thats Frampton and Quigg) and fight for a world title in the England or Ireland. Its ambitious but these two lads are top class fighters, its going to be an interesting 12 months for our BW's.

Interesting to see how Frank puts this one together  #keepdreaming :deal

Dunno why you do Reevo, that post of his makes little sense to me.

Also he is a bit of a spoofer....

This was NOT the case. Frampton at the time of the kiko stoppage was 4 points up on two cards I think and two points up on the third.
    Check it out.

 My view is that Frampton is the next big star.. Love his style, carrys his power to the end and looks to me to have a granite chin.. I think Frampton will beat Santa Cruz and the best in the division, bar rigondeaux that man is unbeatable at that weight, one for the purists..

thewinfella, I checked up the scorecards for Frampton vs Martinez because I didn't remeber them being as close as you said

apparently, the scorecards were 78-74 78-74 and 77-75 all for Frampton before he decked Martinez, which sounds more like it to me

That was the fight I watched

Beat me to it, sounded a bit dodgy to me when he said it, maybe he was confused with another fight?

    Fair play BB.
A lot of people on here need a good kick up the arse, professing to be hard core Carl Frampton fans, boxing experts etc and all the while letting that chancer slander Carl like that! !!!

I was very surprised that it went on so long without anyone correcting him.

There he was waffling about Mexican gym wars having nothing to do with drug cartels???I mean how obvious does it have to be that the guy is a chancer :nut!!

Still everyone is entitled to his opinion and, after all, even a stopped clock is right twice a day, right?

    All the best...:good
