Well ok, that's a bit more reasonable...you musta been in a bad mood at the time to call it a snooze fest or whatever Personally I feel tete is a bit overrated too by the way. Another "size bully" taking advantepage of much smaller guys. Over rated yes....but still very very good. But I don't agree with cst's reasoning in this case. Yes I believe I came across cst's write up about tete. Whether it's "good" or not is arguable! Cst's core point ..if I'm not mis remembering.....was that tete beating butler counts for nothing cos butler is useless.....that sort of thing. Now I can't agree with that. A boxing fan dismissing the skills of the likes of butler and tete loses credibility IMO!
The Khan fight is trash and an embarrassment. Only casuals will be tuning in or those who want to see that glass shattered again.
Don’t ask me why but suddenly I’m sat here questioning myself. Do I go the Khan fight on Saturday or sit at home and flick between the two?
a fool and his money are easily parted sounds like you fell for fragility being rebranded as exciting and indeed have been parted from your money
Well my advice would be go to the fight if you've paid for a ticket. Otherwise watch the Belfast bill. While it's not as great as if was before the pull outs due to injury, I still reckon it's a very decent bill, well worth watching..... The Frampton, tete and Keeler fights should be good......
Anyone know the story behind the guy in all denim who was arguing with Eddie and generally making a nuisance of himself at the weigh in? Seems he was pretty annoyed about something to do with the weights.
I will be sat comfortable all day like a couch potato. The football on first, watch Frampton, record Khan and watch it straight afterwards followed by Broner. Nice curry and plenty of booze - happy days.
Pretty much my plan. Couch all day, footy then the boxing accompanied by a Chinese (dinner, not lady). I’ll watch Broner - Vargas in the morning though.
This! I can't believe people who consider themselves boxing fans would watch that over the Frampton fight! Amazing really
Nice right hook to the body by Fowler there to stop Toms. Round 2. I think he’s a lot better than he looks Fowler, carries good power and great engine. I’d like to see him in with someone like Tony Dixon next who took Cheeseman the distance last time out.
What the **** has Upton just done there? Just came out at the 8th and let McKenna hit him twice then takes a knee. Proper bizarre. He’s threw it away.
That was a good fight. Looks like it may have been head clash that put Upton down, which would be a pity.
Yeah was a good fight, think it was a combination of head butt, body shot and double hook that put him down. Good card this Keeler v Cummings very entertaining
