Er ....not quite old bean. didn't frampton almost make 122 in a recent fight and say that he can still do it if he had to. Frampton is rejuvenated these days and can make 126 easily... .Probably easier than Josh actually. The weigh with be a problem. Keep clutching those straws... :).

I picture you typing this on your laptop, breathing clouds of cigarette smoke over Josh.

That's good Len. Josh needs to fight the best Carl Frampton. Let's give Josh so.e credit here, he opted to take Carl as a vol. He said himself he didn't want an easy defence, he wants to push himself and fight the best. This will do Josh development the world of good. Two of the top 5 fw in a year is testing yourself. Josh needs this fight.

Always thought Frampton was fine at super bantam - I didn't want him to move up. When he did he put muscle on his chest which isn't doing much for a fighter. If he says he can still make 122 then I believe him, so 126 shouldn't be a problem.

There's no reason why it shouldn't be a great fight going in. I've got Frampton down for a clear UD or late knockout, but Josh deserves to be in there. He's going to be countered and countered hard, and relying on Frampton to tire would be a bad strategy. But Warrington did surprise me against Selby when comparing what he did in previous fights. I just think he'll need a few more surprises to win on Saturday.

Excellent post particularly about josh needs to come up with something new something extra if he’s going to pull off the upset. I just hope it’s on the level and we don’t see any corrupt behavior if it’s a close fight...I’m looking at a fairly wide clear points win for Carl. :)

Weigh in was good, Carl looked gaunt under the lights. There was a lot of Irish there Len supporting their lad Carl, it was good to hear.
Can't wait for tomo. #And Still.!

Billy Joe fights at 5.30pm tomorrow. He will feel like he is headlining a show to be fair, an empty arena with no atmosphere.
