It's one of the biggest fights to be made in the lower weight classes, I think Frampton edges it out in a close but decisive win, who you guys got?
Frampy. Always said it, and although I now expect it to be a lot closer, pretty sure he takes it. Simply a much better boxer.
Frampton is too good, better ****nal. Unless he runs out of gas, I don't see this being that competitive, unless Quigg catches Frampton early or on a lucky punch.
Quigg gets completely outboxed then stopped around the 8th . He will be on his feet but a bloody mess.
Quigg too big, too strong and very technically underrated. Frampton is the poster boy who's had all the hype and Quigg is criminally overlooked. Off their last respective fights if Frampton had blown away Kiko it would have been a marvellous performance yet Quigg beats him and suddenly Kiko is shot. Frampton gets dropped twice and shook up yet excuses are made for his bad performance. Again if it was Quigg dropped twice by a Mexican journeyman he would be a glass chinned bum. It's going to be an excellent fight.
Quigg was excellent against Martinez, but, for me, him blowing Kiko away and Frampton not being able to is more down to styles. Quigg has a style that can lead to early blow outs. Frampton does not. I have always favoured Frampton in this fight, but Quigg has impressed me lately so i now think the fight will be a lot closer than i once thought. The tipping point for me is if Quigg can keep a relatively high pace and throw his punches in combination. If he can then he could pull it of or even stop Frampton. However, as the fight wears on i think Frampton's foot work and stinging counters may reduce Quigg's output and make him a bit more timid and only throw his shots in ones or twos. It should be a great fight. Wouldn't be surprised to see both guys go down.
I think it's only me who's going with Quigg in Kirk's league. It's not that I'm a big fan of that division or that I thoroughly know either of the fighters beyond having watched 2 fights of each, it's just that it appears to me like most people go with Frampton because he's the favorite here. So.. let's go underdog
Frampton all the way. He's got the big edge in hand speed, foot speed, and boxing smarts. The best thing about this fight is the bookies and betting public have let the flash knockdowns in Frampton's last fight and Quigg's dominating performances over Frampton leftovers make this an almost even money fight. Go big on the Jackal!
